The Brattleboro Area Jewish Community invites everyone to join in for a community Passover Seder on Sunday, April 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the West Village Meeting House, 29 South St. Rabbi Amita Jarmon will co-lead this seder with community members and offer questions for contemplation and discussion along with plenty of singing. Dinner will be catered by chef Gretchen Hardy from The Porch. There will be fish, chicken, beef and vegan entrees along with vegan side dishes. Wine, grape juice, matzah, matzo balls, chicken soup, gefilte fish, eggs, and other traditional Passover items supplied by BAJC.
The cost for adults is $35 if reserved and paid for by April 1. It’s costing organizers much more but BAJC expects to make up the remainder with a subsidy grant from the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. However, there is no guarantee of how much BAJC will receive.
Early Bird prices are $35 for adults, $28 for children ages 12-18, and $25 for children under 12.
Prices for late registration (final deadline is April 6) are $42, $35 and $30 respectively. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
