A congregation meatless Monday dinner followed by an introduction to the local chapter of the Extinction Rebellion.

Maria and Ward Ogden, of the Brattleboro chapter of Extinction Rebellion (XR), will be coming to All Souls Church on Monday, February 10, to give us their introductory talk after a “meatless dinner.”

This SEAC event starts at 5:30 p.m. for all from All Souls and from the community. If you want to contribute a dish, great, but also bring copies of your recipes to share, if you can!  The XR talk will begin about 6 and you are welcome to come just for the talk.

This will be the first step toward deciding whether ASC wants to affiliate with XR as a congregation, as a number of UU churches across the country (including First Universalist Society just up the road in Hartland) have been doing as part of their effort to address the climate crisis.
