This special service will be led by Rev. Telos Whitfield and our Caring Circle. We do not know when our last day might be… This service will offer ways we can look toward our own dying process with care. Within this circle of caring, we have stories of supporting people at the end of their lives, and honoring their memory. And each of us have experienced losses of those we love. Let us explore this universal experience, together.

Extinguishing Our Chalice  by Lee Huebert                    Beth McKinney
“Lighting a candle is somewhat like the beginning of life. If that is true, then perhaps extinguishing a candle is like the ending of life. But death may not be the end of us. We live on in the memories of friends and loved ones. The influence we possessed in life works on, moving persons or causes forward. Let us not forget that most candles have more than one life, and so, perhaps, may we.”

Closing Circle and song
“Carry the flame of peace and love until we meet again” (sung 2 times)
