ASC member Arta Boutcher will share from her memoir, Loss, Voyage and Rebirth, that traces her family’s journey from Romania to Paris, and ultimately to New York, and her powerful lifelong relationship with her mother. It is a story of culture shock, resilience and transformation of a family of artists who emigrated from Romania in the 1970’s. May we each be reminded of the power of our family heritage and experiences of transformation. The service will be followed by Arta Boutcher’s art reception of her exhibit of paintings entitled “Journey in Color.”
