In this season of lights, may we spread our light far and wide.

Benediction: “The Work of Christmas” by Howard Thurman

It Came Upon a Midnight Clear

It came upon a midnight clear
That glorious song of old
From angels bending near the earth
To touch their harps of gold
Peace on the earth, good will to all
From heaven’s all gracious King
The world in solemn stillness lay
To hear the angels sing

Still through the cloven skies they come
With peaceful wings unfurled
And still their heavenly music floats
O’er all the weary world
Above its sad and lowly plains
They bend on hovering wing
And ever o’er its Babel sounds
The blessed angels sing

Joy To the World!

Joy to the world!
The Light is come: let earth with praises ring.
Let every heart, prepare a room,
and heaven and nature sing,
and heaven and nature sing,
and heaven, and heaven and nature sing.

Joy to the earth! :Now gladness reigns.
Let hearts their songs employ,
while fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains,
repeat the sounding joy,
repeat the sounding joy,
repeat, repeat the sounding joy.

Silent Night, Holy Nght

Silent night, holy night
all is calm, all is bright
round yon virgin mother and child.
Holy infant so tender and mild
sleep in heavenly peace,
sleep in heavenly peace .

Silent night, holy night,
shepherds quake at the sight,
glories stream from heaven afar,
heavenly hosts sing “Alleluia”
sleep in heavenly peace,
sleep in heavenly peace

Silent night, holy night,
child of God, love’s pure light
radiant beams from thy holy face,
with the dawn of redeeming grace,
sleep in heavenly peace,
sleep in heavenly peace.
